In line with our expansion, we are recruiting new headcount for Baristas.
Job Overview
As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee experience to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include crafting high-quality coffee beverages, ensuring consistent product quality, curating innovative coffee and tea-based beverages for pastry pairings, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
This position requires a passion for coffee, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lead and train other baristas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and pour-over coffee, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavour profiles to guide customers in their coffee choices.
- Ensure that all coffee equipment is clean, well-maintained, and calibrated for optimal performance.
- Handle customer orders for both food and beverages efficiently and accurately, providing a friendly and engaging experience.
- Conduct regular quality checks on coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients to ensure freshness and consistency.
- Recommend and promote café offerings to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the preparation area, espresso machines, and brewing equipment.
Requirements
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience as a barista in the coffee industry
- Passion for Coffee and F&B industry
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Take pride in quality of service and food with attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high coffee quality standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- On job training will be provided for candidates with no coffee background or knowledge.
- Food safety and hygiene training will be provided.
