Legal Specialist (Retail Industry, Singapore HQ) – Drive Regional Expansion Across SEA

Location: Central Area (Right next to MRT)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm

We are a fast-growing retail company headquartered in Singapore, with exciting expansion plans across Southeast Asia. To support our growth, we're seeking a Legal Specialist to join our HQ team. Your Role

As a Legal Specialist, you will:

  • Lead and manage daily legal affairs in Singapore, while collaborating with regional teams and HQ counterparts.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders across SEA markets.
  • Provide clear, business-oriented legal and compliance advice to support retail operations and market expansion.
  • Conduct legal research, monitor regulatory developments, and advise on potential risks.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and deliver legal training (e.g. contract negotiation, consumer complaints, theft cases).
  • Support regional compliance and cross-border projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Law with 2–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house within retail, FMCG, or other fast-paced industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore law, with regional exposure an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate with China counterparts – proficiency in Mandarin is required.
  • Strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to balance legal considerations with business growth needs.
