Technical Sales Engineer

Singapore automation Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We're expanding and looking for driven sales professionals with a technical edge. This is not a typical engineering role, your core focus is sales . You'll use your understanding of industrial automation and technical products to build trust, open doors, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales and activity targets.
  • Track customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience (industrial automation, electronics, or technical products is an advantage).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset: proactive, resilient, and target-focused.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with brands like ABB, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Yaskawa, Omron, etc. is a plus.
  • Exposure to industries such as oil & gas, FMCG, manufacturing, marine & offshore, or pharmaceuticals is an advantage.
