You will be joining our dedicated team in Singapore focused on purchasing, selling, and supplying marine fuel to maximize business outcomes while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work directly with the Trade Operations and Key Account teams, reporting to the Commercial Director. The team serves global shipping companies and energy producers, functioning as the essential link between our clients and suppliers.
Strategic Business Partner for Marine Fuel Solutions
As a Key Account Manager/Executive, you will become the primary point of contact for our key clients, building strong business relationships while driving growth and profitability. You will coordinate trading and operational activities between customers and vendors, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service delivery. Working closely with both front office (trading) and middle office (support) teams, you will identify business opportunities, conduct market research, and support business development initiatives to expand our market presence in this strategic region.
More specifically, your responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating trading and operational activities with customers and vendors to ensure optimal service delivery
- Identifying business opportunities and negotiating deals while understanding customer needs and market dynamics
- Supporting business development through market research and strategic relationship building with key industry players
Strategic mindset with excellent relationship management skills
We are looking for a professional with a strong commercial mindset and preferably experience within the marine fuel or shipping industry. Experience from a previous role is not a requirement and we welcome all applicants who have a strong motivation for growing key accounts and utilizing your networking and negotiation skills to deliver results.
You are ambitious with a natural talent for sales and business development, thriving in our fast-paced environment while maintaining independence in your work. You have a proactive, goal-oriented approach that allows you to identify new trends and opportunities in our dynamic market.
Additionally, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Shipping/Trading, or Statistics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- A driven and proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and develop professionally
- Knowledge of risk management and derivatives is considered a plus
