ROOM ATTENDANT:

  1. Responsible to clean and maintain guest rooms, guest corridor and service pantry in accordance to the standards set by the hotel eg. makes bed, dusts the room and furniture, replenishes the guestroom and bath supplies, cleans the bathroom and bedroom, vacuums carpet. 2. Responsible to replenish the mini bar items for the guest rooms. 3. Organizes and replenishes housekeeping trolley and linen pantries on assigned floors with linen and amenities. 4. Responsible for the gathering and removal of soiled linen from the floors.  5. Assists in the placement and/or removal of guestroom items including furniture and fittings e.g. rollaway bed, baby cots etc. 6. Ensures rubbish is collected from floors and is disposed in accordance to hotel standards. 7. Completes all assigned paperwork (updating room cleaned, D&D room etc…) in an accurate and timely manner. 8. Reports any maintenance issues (e.g. carpet cleaning requirements, pest infestations etc…) to Housekeeping Coordinator. 9. Ensure all lost and found items from the guest room are hand over to Security Department promptly. 10. Manage and monitor the housekeeping status of the 'Knowcross' system. 11. Other tasks as and when assigned by the Management.

PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT:

  1. Performs general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping etc. at the hotel's *public areas (include common corridors at the back of house, restaurants, gym, pool area, offices, staff toilets and service areas).
  2. Ensures rubbish /paper waste is collected from the assigned area of work (e.g. offices at back of house) and is disposed in accordance to the standards set by the hotel.
  3. Ensures that the working equipment and tools assigned to perform duties are well maintained at all time.
  4. Reports maintenance issues, odd occurrences, pest infestations to Housekeeping Coordinator /Supervisor for follow up.
  5. Undertakes other duties as and when assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
