We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer to lead, coordinate, and deliver complex IT initiatives across our organisation. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong project management capabilities. You will be responsible for designing solutions, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure, applications, and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

* Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, network, system, and/or application domains.

* Translate business requirements into technical solutions and project scopes.

* Oversee systems design, implementation, testing, documentation, and post-deployment support.

* Manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.

* Maintain high service availability and operational excellence across IT systems.

* Conduct risk assessments, project reviews, and continuous process improvements.

* Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and industry best practices.

* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum *4-7 years of experience** in IT engineering, systems administration, infrastructure, or related fields.

* Proven experience managing mid- to large-scale IT projects.

* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud, virtualization, cybersecurity, etc.).

* Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP/PRINCE2 is an advantage).

* Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

* Ability to lead teams and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

* Knowledge of IT security frameworks and best practices.

* Hands-on experience with DevOps tools or CI/CD environments.

* Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.

* Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP,CISSP, MCSA/MCSE, AWS/Azure certifications.
