Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and production.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen teams across various sections to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Plan and execute large-scale event and catering menus.
  • Ensure all food prepared meets quality, presentation, and Halal standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
  • Support menu innovation, recipe standardization, and seasonal menu planning.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain company culinary standards.
  • Monitor food safety, hygiene, and equipment maintenance.
  • Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or sous chef role.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Halal food production, HACCP, and SFA hygiene standards.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Able to handle large-scale food production and tight timelines.
  • Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative and quality-focused with attention to detail.
  • Willing to work early shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
