Job Description
We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and technically proficient individual to join our Broadcasting Team. This role is essential in supporting both live and recorded events, capturing high-quality footage, and producing engaging video content from concept to completion. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a keen eye for visual storytelling and thrives in fast-paced, event-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Event Setup & Technical Support
- Set up and dismantle broadcasting and AV equipment (e.g., cameras, microphones, tripods, lighting, switchers, monitors)
- Conduct equipment checks, including sound tests, video quality checks, and cable management before each event
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues efficiently
- Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to ensure smooth event execution
Video Production & Shooting
- Operate cameras and audio equipment during live events, seminars, interviews, and promotional shoots
- Ensure proper framing, lighting, and sound quality to capture visually compelling and professional footage
- Manage multi-camera setups for live broadcasts and video recordings
- Organize and back up raw footage for post-production use
Content Development & Storyboarding
- Conceptualize and plan video projects in alignment with branding and event objectives
- Create scripts, storyboards, and shot lists to support visual storytelling
- Assist in pre-production planning including scheduling, scouting locations, and coordinating with on-camera talent
Creative & Technical Contribution
- Provide input on visual direction and content flow to improve storytelling and production quality
- Monitor live feeds and recordings to ensure consistent quality control
- Support live streaming operations when required
- Keep up with trends in video production, equipment, and broadcasting techniques
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, audio gear, and lighting setups
- Ability to conceptualize and storyboard videos with a clear narrative structure
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Physically able to lift and transport technical equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Media Production, Broadcasting, Film, or Communications
- Experience with live streaming platforms (e.g., YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Zoom)
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
