Chef de Partie/Commis Chef

Job Summary: The Candidate will work closely with Founder to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting in various culinary tasks to deliver high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and marinating, to ensure timely and efficient cooking.
Cooking: Follow recipes and instructions to cook and plate dishes accurately and consistently.
Kitchen Management: Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment. Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Quality Control: Participate in quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, monitoring stock levels of ingredients, and notifying the head chef when supplies need to be replenished.
Food Safety: Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature control.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Adaptability: Be flexible in your role and willing to take on various kitchen tasks as needed, including prep work, cooking, plating, and cleaning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $2,800.00 per month
