Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation, reporting, and submission of accurate management accounts, including month-end closing, monthly rolling forecasts, and financial schedules for board meetings.
  • Oversee the accounting functions and day-to-day operations of the Finance Team.
  • Handle quarterly intercompany balances reconciliation and ensure timely reporting.
  • Lead treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, payment planning, and ensuring sufficient working capital for daily operations.
  • Oversee the annual audit process and ensure the timely completion and signing of audited financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate tax requirements, including accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Monitor office overhead expenses, track spending against budget, and perform variance analysis to identify, investigate, and explain deviations.
  • Provide financial information and insights to stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Manage month-end closing activities and ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budgeting, accounting, and payroll.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or other equivalent recognized professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a construction company.
