About the Company:

Our client is a leading Fintech company in Asia.

They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Singapore team as a key member of the finance function. This role will oversee the full financial operations of two companies and serve as a future leader and talent pipeline for our overseas finance teams. The successful candidate will ensure smooth and compliant local financial operations while providing strategic insight to support the company's international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Comprehensive Financial Management:

    Independently handle the full spectrum of financial operations for two Singapore entities, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly and annual closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  2. Cash Flow Management and Monitoring:

    Manage intercompany funding, settlements, and reconciliations between domestic and overseas entities. Monitor cash flow and provide timely reporting.

  3. Audit and Taxation:

  4. Lead annual audit processes and act as the main liaison with external auditors, ensuring efficient completion and submission of audit reports.

  5. Oversee tax compliance and ensure accurate and timely submission of annual tax filings.

  6. Regulatory Compliance and Licensing:

  7. Lead or play a key role in the preparation and application of relevant business licenses or certifications.

  8. Maintain communication with Singapore regulatory authorities to ensure continuous compliance with local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance experience, with solid local hands-on experience in Singapore. Experience in a Chinese-funded company is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, audit, and tax filing procedures.
  • Excellent command of both Chinese and English for effective communication with the China-based headquarters and local institutions.
  • Outgoing personality with strong cross-departmental coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsible, proactive, and discreet; capable of operating in a fast-growing international environment.
  • Prior experience in a Chinese-funded enterprise or financial/treasury center will be an advantage.
