Senior/Lead Specialist, Hydro-informatics

What you will be working on:
  • Support the execution of the long-term roadmap of the Conveyance specialisation in the areas of Hydro-Informatics and Hydraulics for WSN department
    • Update model inputs and calibrate models to align with latest developments within supply zone and ensure model accuracy when supporting planning and operation needs
    • Run hydrodynamic simulations to provide assessment on the behaviour and performance of water supply network under various conditions and analyse the results to determine adequacy of water supply network.
    • Provide technical inputs and advice to planning officers for challenging model set up and simulations.
    • Maintenance and upgrading of modelling system.
    • Engage and develop network with industry and academic experts to build depth and expertise in the domain.
    • Participate in external forums/conferences to profile PUB as deep subject matter experts in the areas of hydro-informatics and hydraulics
    • Carry out R&D study pertaining to hydro-informatics and hydraulics works
What we are looking for:
  • A degree or above in Civil or Environmental Engineering
    • Keen interest in the technical know-how of hydro-informatics and hydraulics
    • Possess strong analytical thinking, managerial and planning skills
    • Independent, willing to learn, result-oriented and self-driven
    • Good interpersonal and strong communication skills
    • Good knowledge in IT
