Coastal Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Coastal Protection Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement strategies for coastal protection and resilience in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project briefs, requirements, and technical specifications for consultancy, data collection, and construction contracts related to coastal protection and building works. They will also plan, execute, and manage the entire cycle of project development, tendering, proposal evaluation, and project award processes.

  • Understand and identify conditions and constraints in the Sentosa environment and propose feasible engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering (preferably Civil and Environmental Engineering) or a Master's Degree in Coastal Engineering, Hydro-informatics, or a closely related discipline. They should also have minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years of relevant experience in coastal engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering (preferably Civil and Environmental Engineering) or a Master's Degree in Coastal Engineering, Hydro-informatics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years of relevant experience in coastal engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of various coastal and drainage modelling and GIS software, spatial and temporal data processing and analysis.
  • Design and/or design management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
