  • 5.5 working days (Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm; Saturday: 8am - 12pm)
  • Work location at West side of Singapore

  • Transport provided across islandwide

The Job:

  • Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) for assigned projects and hand over to the Material Coordinator for procurement follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of remnant materials for reconciliation and project close-out.
  • Liaise with Project Lead/Superintendent to align with project schedules and priorities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to expedite site fabrication and installation works, ensuring progress milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor, update, and report weekly project progress; plan activities one week in advance.
  • Consolidate project material requirements (e.g., galvanizing, machining) and provide inputs for Purchase Requests, Variation Orders, and Site Instructions.
  • Work closely with QA/QC and client representatives to resolve issues and maintain quality standards.
  • Update engineering drawings with Red Line Markups to reflect site changes.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues by liaising with Project Lead/Superintendent on drawing discrepancies and equipment/structural clashes.
  • Coordinate and oversee scaffolding erection and de-staging activities with relevant trades.
  • Ensure proper on-site material management, storage, and wastage control.

The Talent:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Marine, Offshore, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marine/shipyard operations, with focus on structure fabrication and installation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in resolving engineering or site-related clashes.
  • Solid understanding of resource planning, material control, and construction sequencing.
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to coordinate across trades and interface with client site teams.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
