Job Description

We are seeking an experienced WSHO cum ECO to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) efforts on public sector construction projects. You will report directly to the Project Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and workplace safety across all phases of the project.

This role is critical for maintaining site integrity and avoiding regulatory infringements. Candidates with prior experience on LTA or HDB projects are highly preferred.


Responsibilities

• Advise and support the Project Manager on project-wide EHS planning and implementation

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company safety policies, and subcontractor agreements

• Liaise with statutory bodies such as MOM, NEA, LTA, and HDB

• Conduct regular inspections and enforce corrective actions, including stop-work orders when necessary

• Investigate and document workplace incidents and accidents

• Promote a safety-first culture among subcontractors and internal teams

• Monitor and prevent violations such as fines, demerit points, or stop-work notices

• Handle environmental compliance as per NEA and project-specific requirements


Requirements

• Degree or Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM

• NEA-certified ECO / ECMO or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proven track record in LTA or HDB projects

• Strong understanding of local EHS and environmental regulations
