Job Scope

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, EHS and Head of Project to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management Systems and safety culture at the project level.
  • Lead and facilitate daily Toolbox Meetings, safety meetings, safety inspections, safety training sessions, and other safety-related initiatives to ensure a high standard of workplace safety.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with government agencies and relevant authorities on matters related to the health and safety of personnel and workers.
  • Take responsibility for incident and accident reporting and investigations, including near-miss events and any occupational diseases arising within the project.
  • Identify potential or existing environmental issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as required under applicable regulations and statutory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Registered WSHO and ECO
  • Possess Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) qualification will be added advantage.
  • Positive attitude and independent

  • Excellent communication skills

  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience in a construction firm
