About the role

Kim Seng Heng Engineering Construction (Pte) Ltd is seeking a full-time WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) cum ECO (Environmental Control Officer) to join our team in the Buona Vista project site. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction operations, playing a key part in maintaining our high standards and commitment to the wellbeing of our employees and the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  2. Conduct risk assessments, develop safety programs, and provide training to employees on safety best practices
  3. Manage the environmental impact of construction activities, including waste management, noise and dust control, and resource conservation
  4. Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  5. Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the company in inspections and audits
  6. Continuously review and improve safety and environmental management systems to drive operational excellence

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a WSHO and/or ECO in the construction industry
  2. Registered WSHO and ECO qualifications
  3. Strong knowledge of workplace safety and environmental regulations, and experience in implementing compliance programs
  4. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
