Role: Senior Technical Lead (Wealth Management Domain)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead with over 15 years of expertise in the Wealth Management domain and extensive knowledge of Temenos Transact modules. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills in InfoBasic/Java and the ability to review and guide advanced and complicated code for Temenos software. This role requires collaboration with project managers, development teams, internal stakeholders, and clients to deliver customized technical solutions and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirement Analysis and Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, development managers, internal teams, and clients to identify user requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams and departments to deliver customized technical solutions, leveraging expertise in software design and programming principles.
  3. Project Management: Create project timelines for technical delivery, monitor development activities, and ensure deadlines are met effectively by allocating resources efficiently.
  4. Feasibility Studies and Workshops: Conduct feasibility studies, solutions discussion workshops, and lead a team for projects, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
  5. Technical Decision Making: Make technical decisions and provide direction to the team based on project requirements and architectural considerations.
  6. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review advanced and complicated code for Temenos software using InfoBasic/Java, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
  7. Task Assignment and Mentorship: Assign tasks to junior developers such as coding, debugging, and testing, and provide guidance, expertise, and mentorship to support their professional growth.
  8. Testing and Deployment: Test code developed by others, debug to fix errors in logic or performance, and deploy programs and applications, ensuring high quality and reliability.
  9. Documentation: Write technical specifications and interface specifications for development, review software and documentation by the team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  10. Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts and project status.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in software development and technical leadership roles, with a strong understanding of the Wealth Management domain and Temenos Transact modules.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as InfoBasic and Java, with the ability to review and guide advanced and complicated code.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create project timelines, monitor progress, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct feasibility studies and make informed technical decisions.
  • Experience in mentoring junior developers and guiding them to grow in their roles.
  • Knowledge of software design and programming principles, with a learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
