**Job Summary**

The Lead Technical Officer for Electric Vehicle (EV) Buses will oversee the technical aspects of the development, deployment, and maintenance of electric bus systems. The role involves coordinating engineering teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, optimizing performance, and leading innovation in electric bus technology. The Lead Technical Officer will collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to implement sustainable and cost-effective electric bus solutions. The role also includes managing the technical roadmap, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring fleet reliability and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:
**Technical Leadership**
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of EV bus systems and infrastructure.
- Oversee and manage the technical team, ensuring that all projects align with company goals and industry standards.
- Ensure continuous improvement of EV bus technology, including batteries, charging systems, electric motors, and control systems.

**Innovation and Research**
- Stay updated with the latest developments in EV technology, batteries, energy storage, and charging solutions.
- Lead research initiatives aimed at improving EV bus efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing durability and performance.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to drive innovation in areas such as fast-charging technologies, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) integration, and energy management systems.

**Compliance and Safety**
- Ensure that all EV buses meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Oversee the development and implementation of safety protocols for EV bus operations, including battery safety, charging infrastructure, and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor and assess the performance of EV buses to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency.

**Training and Development**
- Develop training programs for technical staff on new technologies, systems, and troubleshooting methods related to electric buses.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to junior engineers and technical personnel.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**
- Monitor performance data from electric buses, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, performance reviews, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
