Position Description
The Director of Health Consumer Marketing for China & Asia will lead the development and execution of innovative and locally resonant marketing strategies that drive health consumer engagement and sales across markets in Greater China and selected Asian countries (excluding Australia and New Zealand). This role is crucial in aligning regional marketing efforts with global consumer marketing objectives to deliver strong brand positioning, sustainable growth, and health impact at scale.
With a strong emphasis on China's unique digital and health ecosystem, this position requires deep regional market expertise, especially in the Chinese consumer environment and healthcare space, and fluency in Mandarin. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking and local activation capabilities to achieve ResMed's 2030 strategic vision.

1. China & Asia Marketing Expertise: Deep awareness and knowledge of Asian market constructs, especially Mainland China, focusing on how to leverage specific cultural aspects around consumer behaviour and health engagement to reach ambitious growth targets.

Lead Consumer-Centric Strategy: Understand and act on the evolving needs and behaviors of health consumers in China and broader Asian markets, localizing global strategies and combining with local efforts for maximum relevance and impact.
Execute Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Drive execution of regional multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, PR, partnerships, and traditional media.
China-Specific Leadership: Leverage in-depth understanding of China's regulatory, cultural, and commercial environment to ensure effective messaging and market penetration
Regional & global collaboration: Work closely with global and regional pods, delivery and project teams to deliver growth in key channels and marketplaces. Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with Revenue and Product teams to translate business goals into actionable, consumer-driven marketing initiatives.
Data-Driven Optimization: Define KPIs and success metrics for regional marketing efforts; track, report, and adapt based on performance insights.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with regional influencers, health experts, and key ecosystem players to drive brand equity and reach.
Regulatory Awareness: Ensure marketing compliance with country-specific healthcare advertising and consumer protection regulations.
Leadership Impact: Represent the voice of the China & Asia consumer at global forums and contribute to the broader strategic direction of Resmed.
Team Development: Recruit, grow, and retain a diverse and capable marketing team across the region, enabling both team and individual excellence.
Let's Talk About Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
Proven leadership in regional consumer marketing roles across Asia, with a specific focus on China.
Experience in both consumer and healthcare marketing environments.
Demonstrated success in managing high-impact, multi-channel campaigns across culturally diverse markets.
Strong and demonstrated understanding of China's digital ecosystem, healthcare landscape, and commercial operations.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in consumer or health-related marketing roles in a multi-market environment
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field (Master's degree a plus); MBA preferred
Experience working in global matrixed organizations.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess market opportunities and ROI.
Experience in team management and cross-functional leadership.
A passion for improving health outcomes through consumer engagement and innovation.
