**About FutureChina**

The FutureChina (FC) division focuses on trend watching, topical studies and content curation on China’s economy and international relations with Singapore and other countries. It is in charge of curating and delivering the Business China’s annual flagship event - the FutureChina Global Forum (FCGF), an international platform for business leaders and experts to share their geopolitical and economics views and assessments regarding China. The team is also responsible for the Business China Award, which aims to honour outstanding individuals and enterprises for their contributions to Singapore-China relations.

The FC division maintains a strong corporate and government network in Singapore and the region and brings in exclusive value & China’s insights to Business China’s corporate members. The team also conceptualises and implements programmes helmed by Political Office Holders (POHs) and prominent business leaders.

This role allows you to be in the thick of exciting research, analysis and discussions on the current and future developmental trajectory, economic and business trends in China, and with China and Chinese businesses in other countries.
- A Team Leader’s role, supporting the Director to manage a team of 3-4 members.
- Conceptualise, plan, and oversee programmes for the various forums and dialogue sessions with POHs and prominent business leaders
- Curate content and network with thinktanks, academics and business leaders for their expert inputs into programmes
- Lead business development, recruitment and marketing of FC programmes
- Identify, cultivate and secure potential partners and sponsors for FC programmes
- Drive corporate membership strategies and implementation
- Review and propose current and new FC programmes relevant to BC mission
- Create overseas engagement opportunities and programmes to value-add to Singapore-based companies, corporate members and young working adults
- Any other tasks, duties, or responsibilities designated by Director or CEO

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin - written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Degree in Business, Marketing, Chinese Studies, Social Science, International Relations, Journalism, or other relevant disciplines
- Good knowledge and interest in China and International relations
- Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in research, China-related work and some knowledge of events management - i.e., organising forums
- Prior experience in handling China-related businesses or industries will be advantageous
- Possess strong partnership/stakeholder management capabilities and project management skills
