The Opportunity:

  • Permanent role
  • Work location: North East
  • Work hours: Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm

Adecco is partnering with recognised organisation and they are looking for Senior Manager, InfoSec & Governance to join the Team A great opportunity to work with the company who value growth opportunities, trainings and diversity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and governance information security technology platforms, solutions, and controls in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Lead and manage the GIS team, develop security guidelines, and enhance processes to strengthen enterprise security posture.
  • Provide technical support for risk management, audits, and compliance; report on security performance and escalate critical issues.
  • Manage the 24x7 Security Operations Center, coordinate incident response, and lead collaboration with internal teams and external experts.
  • Guide the selection, implementation, and operation of security technologies and infrastructure, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; security certifications such as CISM or CISSP are advantageous.
  • Min. 9 years of experience in security technology administration and operations (e.g. firewall, SIEM, VPN, DLP, endpoint management etc), including 4 years managing 24x7 security operations.
  • Proficient in cloud security technologies (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365) and familiar with global security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOX, NIST CSF, CIS CSC).
  • Experienced in leading lean, multicultural teams, collaborating across all management levels and multiple time zones.
