The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timeline. The position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills, along with deep expertise in project management methodologies and tools.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Project Execution: Manage end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful outcomes
  2. Develop Project Plans: Create and maintain detailed plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resource needs
  3. Drive Team Collaboration: Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and effective teamwork
  4. Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and serve as the main liaison for project updates, risks, and decisions
  5. Manage Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, ensuring contingency plans are in place
  6. Control Budget & Resources: Oversee financials and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use and vendor performance
  7. Ensure Strategic Alignment: Define clear project goals and milestones that support broader organizational priorities

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is advantageous
  • At least 7-10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role managing complex projects
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage diverse stakeholders effectively
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to drive collaboration and clarity
  • Skilled in resolving challenges and adjusting to evolving project needs
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello and Asana; budgeting and resource planning experience
  • PMP, Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) and Six Sigma or Lean credentials are a plus
