Sleep Technologist Lead, EGH Planning Office

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing that is centred around each person. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and develop sleep laboratory services at EGH. You will lead the department in providing strategic leadership in planning and establishing sleep laboratory services. Your responsibilities will encompass developing clinical governance frameworks, establishing quality assurance programs, and creating evidence-based protocols. You will play a crucial role in strategic planning, workforce development, and implementing innovative technologies to ensure excellence in clinical practice and patient care when the hospital becomes operational.
Requirements:
· Preferably a degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science or a health science related subject
· Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) certifications from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) would be advantageous
· Prior experience and knowledge in electroencephalogram (EEG) studies would be advantageous
· Strong clinical expertise and knowledge in sleep technology
· Experience in developing clinical protocols and quality frameworks
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders
· Experience in staff development and training
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
