Senior Radiographer

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing that is centred around each person. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of developing the general radiography services at EGH. Working closely with the Radiography Lead, you will be instrumental in planning and establishing general X-ray services, including dental and OT radiography services. Your responsibilities will encompass workflow design, developing standard operating procedures, establishing radiation safety protocols, and creating training frameworks for staff. You will also contribute to equipment planning, manpower projections, and service development initiatives to ensure high standards of clinical practice and patient care when the hospital becomes operational.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Radiography from recognised institutions with minimum 5 years' experience and demonstrated competencies, OR
• Postgraduate degree with minimum 4 years' experience and demonstrated competencies
• Full or Restricted Registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• NEA R1 License
• Advanced clinical knowledge in general radiography
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
