Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiography and other imaging procedures in accordance with clinical standards, ensuring patient care, clinical requirements, and radiation safety guidelines are met.
  • Participate in 24/7 radiography services through rotating shifts and activation during emergencies or mass casualty incidents as required.
  • Ensure diagnostic images meet quality standards and assist in quality control and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
  • Promptly report and follow up on imaging equipment issues to ensure minimal service disruption.
  • Maintain proper records of imaging cases performed and ensure good housekeeping and inventory management at the workstation.
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and practical training to junior staff and students in radiography techniques and patient care.
  • Assist with patient management tasks, including registration, billing, appointment scheduling, and handling enquiries where possible.
  • Support data collection efforts for film reject analysis and assist with any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognised institution.
  • Possess a valid Radiation Licence under the Radiation Protection Act (Chapter 262).
  • Hold a valid Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) Practising Certificate.
  • Strong focus on quality service delivery and patient-centric care, with good teamwork and communication skills.
