The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centered around each person. This role supports the department in planning, implementing, and delivering pharmaceutical services at EGH. The Senior Pharmacist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide pharmaceutical care, optimise drug therapy, and ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective medication use.

Key responsibilities include:

·       Deliver pharmaceutical care and drug information services to patients and healthcare professionals

·       Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems to improve patient outcomes

·       Educate patients, caregivers, pharmacy students, and healthcare providers

·       Participate in quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives

·       Support the department in staff development, welfare, and implementation of pharmacy programmes

·       Lead and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy support staff

·       Manage projects and contribute to change processes within the department

·       Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and services

Requirements

·       Degree in Pharmacy recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council

·       Fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council

·       Holds a current practising certificate in Singapore

·       Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with demonstrated competency

·       Strong analytical and communication skills

·       Experience in project and change management

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

·       Able to work in high pressure and dynamic environments
