Principal Radiographer

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of developing the diagnostic imaging services at EGH. Working closely with the Radiography Lead, you will be instrumental in planning and establishing diagnostic imaging services including ultrasound, breast, and cross-sectional imaging. Your responsibilities will encompass planning workflow processes, developing imaging protocols, establishing safety guidelines, and creating clinical education frameworks. You will also play a vital role in equipment planning, manpower projections, and service development to ensure high standards of clinical practice and patient care when the hospital becomes operational. This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and various stakeholders to translate clinical strategies into operational excellence for the new hospital.

Requirements:

·       Diploma/Degree in Radiography from recognised institutions with minimum 8 years' experience and demonstrated competencies, OR

·       Postgraduate degree with minimum 7 years' experience and demonstrated competencies

·       Full or Restricted Registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)

·       NEA R1 License

·       Advanced clinical knowledge in diagnostic imaging modalities

·       Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities

·       Good project management and communication skills
