Key areas of responsibility

  • Responsible for handling full set of accounts, including (AP / AR / GL) & ensure timely preparation/review of monthly accounts and financial statements
  • Handle audit & tax queries and provide information as required by external auditors
  • Preparation of schedules for all Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (B/S) items
  • Monthly closing, Bank reconciliation, and etc.
  • Assist in all financial related matters and any ad hoc projects

Requirements

  • Familiar with Singapore Accounting Standards and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of accounting software, especially in JDE system is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Candidate should possess at least a Diploma in Finance, Accounting or equivalent or a professional certification in Finance and Accounting
  • Multi-tasking, high commitment and strong sense of urgency towards deadlines
  • An analytical mind, disciplined and ability to work independently
  • Immediate availability is an advantage
