Job Description

What You'll Work On

As an AI Finance Intern, you'll play a key role in prototyping and deploying components of our AI-powered quant research stack. This is not a typical finance internship — you'll be writing real code, modeling real markets, and building tools that directly impact live trading decisions.

* Research & Development

  • Reverse engineer profitable price action using AI models
  • Design and test features using multi-bar, event-driven frameworks
  • Contribute to our automated strategy generation system (TERA)

* Machine Learning & LLM Integration

  • Use LLMs to generate, validate, and improve trading features
  • Build prompt chains for feature discovery, regime detection, and EV analysis
  • Train and fine-tune models for contextual strategy selection

* Engineering & Systems

  • Assist in building a C++/Python hybrid backtesting engine
  • Design structured logging and factor storage formats
  • Automate trade logging, EV scoring, and edge ranking systems

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong coding skills in Python (bonus: C++, NumPy, Pandas)
  • Familiar with financial markets (stocks, crypto, options) or eager to learn
  • Some experience with LLMs, vector databases, or prompt engineering
  • Quantitative mindset — understands statistics, ML, or time series analysis
  • Passion for AI + Finance; startup-level hunger; critical thinker

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Built or backtested a trading strategy
  • Worked with tools like LangChain, OpenAI, Pinecone, or FAISS
  • Experience with reinforcement learning or agent-based modeling
  • Read papers like "LLM Agents for Finance", "AutoGPT for Quant Research", or similar
