Short Description

Based in the Singapore office of International Baccalaureate within the IT Corporate Systems & Platforms team of Digital Office, this role will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise Finance and Human Resources systems. The role will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, and IT to ensure delivery of high-value, scalable, and compliant solutions that drive operational excellence, user experience, and digital transformation.

As a trusted partner to Finance and HR stakeholders, the Senior Product Specialist will help design, deliver, and optimize digital experiences that support the entire journey with the IB — from first inquiry through ongoing engagement — enabling efficiency, compliance, and innovation across critical business functions.

About the Job

Product Strategy & Roadmap


• Define and maintain the roadmap for Corporate Systems (Oracle Finance, Planning & Budgeting, HCM, Billing & Payments) in alignment with Finance and HR objectives.


• Identify opportunities to modernize, automate, and streamline Finance and HR processes through innovative digital solutions.


• Continuously refine the roadmap based on product performance, evolving user needs, market conditions, and stakeholder feedback.

Product Ownership & Delivery


• Translate business needs into product features, user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.


• Drive implementation, upgrades, and integrations across core systems, ensuring security, compliance, and scalability.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for system enhancements, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.

Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration


• Partner closely with engineering, design, and business SMEs to ensure delivery of high-value solutions.


• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, reviews) and maintain alignment across teams.

Customer-Centric & Data-Driven Practices


• Drive early and continuous feedback loops, using customer input and usage data to inform decisions.


• Prioritize the end-to-end employee and customer journey in the design of digital products.


• Monitor user adoption, track outcomes, and deliver enhancements that improve usability and efficiency.


• Anticipate and lead responses to product performance issues, bugs, or emerging risks.

About You


• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, HR, or a related discipline.


• Proven experience managing Finance and HR systems (e.g., Oracle ERP, HCM, EPM, or equivalent).


• Deep understanding of Finance and HR business processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements.


• Strong experience in billing, payments, and banking integrations.


• Proven track record of managing enterprise system roadmaps, implementations, and vendor partnerships.


• Prior experience gathering and managing end-user and business stakeholder requirements.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, collaborate, and engage with cross-functional stakeholders.


• Proficiency in Agile project management practices, particularly Scrum, with hands-on experience across the system lifecycle.


• Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies to deliver intuitive and engaging products.


• Confident decision-maker who can advocate for the product, manage conflicts constructively, and inspire teams to innovate and continuously improve.
