Catering Head Chef – Private Events & Catering Kitchen

Location: Singapore (On-site)

We're looking for a Catering Head Chef who loves to cook, create, and inspire. In our kitchen, no two days are ever the same — from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations for VIPs and celebrities. You'll be hands-on, guiding your team, mentoring your staff, and talking with clients to shape menus and plan events, making every celebration truly special.

This role is more than cooking. You'll manage manpower, prep, inventory, logistics, budgets, and profitability, while helping develop exciting new dishes. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and finds joy in turning challenges into memorable experiences.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Cook and plate dishes hands-on during events, maintaining the highest quality.
  • Communicate with clients to plan menus and discuss event logistics.
  • Plan and manage manpower, prep, inventory, logistics, budgets, and profitability.
  • Oversee seafood, meats, sauces, and all kitchen production.
  • Research and develop new dishes, sauces, and menu concepts, including costing and portion planning.
  • Mentor and support your kitchen team to grow their skills.
  • Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and safe.
  • Ensure every event runs smoothly, from prep to service.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 6 years' experience in large-scale catering operations or big catering groups, with prior Head Chef or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Strong foundation in seafood, meats, and sauces.
  • Hands-on, client-facing, and comfortable running large events.
  • Skilled in logistics, manpower planning, inventory management, and computer-based kitchen operations.
  • Financially savvy: experience with budgeting, costing, controlling food costs, and managing profitability.
  • Creative, adaptable, and able to work across cuisines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Passionate about constantly developing new menus and improving efficiency in both the kitchen and administrative backend.
