Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• To maintain existing in-house applications
• To enhance existing in-house applications.
• To participate in the development of Web Application using Telerik Kendo UI, ASP.Net Core and SQL Server.
• To collaborate with developers in local and offshore environments.
• Provide and update software documentation.
• To engage users for user requirements and feedback.
• To create and support current data dashboards and Data Warehouse (Microsoft SQL Server).
• To perform additional technical duties assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a software development environment is preferred.
• Experience in Logistics Systems (e.g. Transport Management System, Warehouse Management System, Freight Management System) will be an added advantage.
• A bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Software Architecture principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in backend frameworks, coding and libraries (e.g. ASP.Net Core in C#, Entity Framework, etc.).
• Proficiency in Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficiency in Database Management Systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to write efficient queries.
• Knowledge of Telerik Kendo UI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of developing and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.
