As a Accounts Assistant (AR/AP), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of customer invoices.

  • Generate statements of account and ensure timely distribution.
  • Record incoming payments and perform account reconciliation to clear outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile cash receipts and monitor discrepancies.
  • Prepare and update the Accounts Receivable Aging Report.
  • Follow up with customers on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.

  • Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Assist in processing vendor invoices, payments, and monthly creditors reconciliation.

  • Support in posting Accounts Payable entries, including accruals and prepayments, into the accounting system.
  • Assist in preparing cheques and processing online banking payments.

  • General & Administrative:

  • Provide support during year-end financial audits by preparing relevant schedules and documentation.

  • Assist in organizing and managing financial aspects of major club events (e.g., AGM, Commodore Day).
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance team or Management.

Requirement:

  • At least a NITEC or Diploma qualification.
  • Have at least 2 years of accounting working experiences.
