**About the Role**:
We are an outsourced accounting firm providing end-to-end finance, tax, and corporate services to clients across a wide range of industries. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant (Assistant Manager) to join our team. This role involves managing multiple client portfolios, supervise junior staff, and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including MOM & ACRA-related filings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage full sets of accounts for a portfolio of local and regional clients
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and financial reporting
- Prepare management reports, financial statements, and tax computations (IRAS, GST, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant tax regulations
- Prepare and file ACRA-related documents including XBRL submissions and annual returns
- Report to clients on financial performance and provide timely updates
- Handle new client onboarding and manage ongoing client queries professionally
- Attend client meetings and provide sound advisory on accounting & tax matters, and build strong client relationships
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities as needed
- Supervise and mentor a small team of junior accountants, reviewing their work and providing training
- Work independently and manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively
- Assist in process improvements and implementation of best practices

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or professional accounting qualification or equivalent (e.g. ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
- 3 years of accounting experience preferred (experience in a client facing role in an outsourced accounting environment is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, is an advantage)
- Familiarity with ACRA submissions and XBRL filing is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Willingness and ability to guide and support junior team members
- Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
