Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager (Architectural) to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Strategic Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans including detailed budgets, realistic timelines, and optimal resource allocation strategies that ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
  • Stakeholder Coordination Excellence: Coordinate and liaise effectively with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Performance Monitoring & Risk Management: Monitor project progress continuously, identify potential risks proactively, and implement timely corrective actions to maintain project momentum and quality while minimizing disruptions and cost overruns.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards while maintaining compliance with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) requirements and industry best practices.
  • Leadership Communication: Provide regular, detailed updates and comprehensive reports to senior management on project status, performance metrics, milestone achievements, and any issues requiring executive attention or strategic decisions.
  • Team Development & Mentorship: Mentor and guide project team members to foster a collaborative, productive work environment while developing their technical and professional capabilities to support organizational growth and knowledge transfer.
Who are they looking for?
  • Extensive Project Management Experience: Professionals with minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction project management, with specific preference for candidates with background in architectural works and complex construction projects.
  • MRT Infrastructure Expertise: Candidates with 3-5 years of specialized experience related to MRT station architectural works, demonstrating understanding of the unique technical, regulatory, and operational challenges in transit infrastructure construction.
  • Technical Knowledge Excellence: Strong comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and industry best practices, preferably with prior hands-on experience in MRT projects and mass transit infrastructure development.
  • Multi-Project Management Skills: Proven ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality standards across all concurrent assignments and stakeholder expectations.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal teams at all organizational levels.
  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in using project management software and tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms for scheduling, resource management, and project tracking and reporting.
  • Professional Qualifications: Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES), ensuring professional competency standards.
  • Professional Certification: Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 would be highly preferred, demonstrating commitment to professional excellence and industry-recognized expertise.
