Our Client, in the Semiconductor Industry well known MNC located in the West has openings for Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant for a 6-month temporary role to support daily purchasing and inventory tasks. Responsibilities include handling purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, monitoring stock levels, and helping with cost-saving efforts. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, good negotiation skills, be organized and proactive.

Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing:

·       Handle purchase orders, invoicing, and related documentation.

·       Source new suppliers and identify potential new products.

·       Qualify new vendors and evaluate alternative sources.

·       Ensure timely procurement to meet production and operational needs.

Supplier Management:

·       Monitor and evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis.

·       Drive cost-saving initiatives and support cost control efforts.

Inventory Management:

·       Manage and control inventory of chemicals and general supplies.

·       Prepare and submit monthly procurement and inventory reports.

Job Requirements:

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant purchasing or inventory control role.

·       Diploma or higher in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.

·       Experience in purchasing, inventory, material, or warehouse management is preferred.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office.

·       Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

·       Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
