About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Internal Audit Manager to join our Group-level audit function. This role is key to strengthening our governance, risk management, and internal control landscape. You will conduct comprehensive audits, provide professional insights, and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial and operational audits across the company and its subsidiaries, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and operational procedures.
  • Plan and execute audits of accounts, bookkeeping records, and financial statements.

    Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Group's risk-based audit methodology.
  • Provide advisory support on control and process matters for system development and corporate projects.

    Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports outlining audit scope, findings, financial conditions, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with management to strengthen corporate governance practices across the organisation.
  • Manage and utilise internal audit resources effectively throughout the Group.
  • Assess risks within various business units and perform audits aligned with evolving business practices in the "new normal."

Job Requirements

  • Professional qualification with at least 5 years of experience in operational and financial audits, with a strong track record.
  • Solid understanding of audit operations, business processes, and industry best practices in risk management.
  • Strong acumen in identifying business risks and evaluating operational and control environments.
  • Mature, independent, and proactive self-starter with sound judgment and high integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong client management capabilities and a collaborative team player.
  • Sharp ability to identify areas of weak controls and recommend effective improvements.
  • Extensive internal audit experience, preferably within a multinational group or at a managerial level with significant exposure. Relevant experience and expertise in commodities trading and financial services sectors will be a plus.
  • Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Senior Internal Audit Manager position.
