About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive / Accountant to support financial operations, reporting, and governance activities. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and shared service teams to ensure smooth month-end closing, accurate financial reporting, and strong compliance with audit and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Finance Shared Services and other internal teams to ensure a smooth and accurate monthly closing process in line with corporate and statutory requirements.
  • Support statutory reporting and audit processes, ensuring financials are compliant with the latest IFRS standards.

  • Manage and oversee key operational finance processes including:

  • Purchase requisitions and orders

  • Fixed asset management, including:

    • Leading and executing fixed asset verification exercises
    • Maintaining accuracy of asset registers and compliance with policies and accounting standards
    • Partnering with asset custodians to promote proper asset management and accountability
    • Monitoring asset movements, disposals, and impairments for accurate financial reporting
    • Operational expenditure management, including review of payables and accruals
    • Review and analyse financial data to support reporting accuracy and decision-making.
    • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems or process improvements.
    • Uphold strong corporate governance by liaising with auditors and stakeholders to ensure timely closure of audit matters.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector or with SAP systems will be an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to partner cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications — particularly Excel (advanced functions, VBA Macros), PowerPoint, and Word.
