We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented (Senior) Executive, Financial Control to join our Finance team. You will play a key role in supporting financial closing activities, managing fixed assets, and ensuring strong compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.

This position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting core financial operations and contributing to process improvements.

  • Salary Range: $3,500 – $5,000/month
  • Location: Kent Ridge
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of monthly financial closing processes in collaboration with internal teams and shared services.
  • Support statutory reporting and audit activities, ensuring compliance with the latest IFRS standards and internal financial policies.

  • Manage operational finance processes, including:

  • Purchase requisitions and orders

  • Fixed asset management, such as:

    • Leading and executing fixed asset verification exercises
    • Ensuring accuracy of asset registers and compliance with accounting standards
    • Reviewing asset movements, disposals, and impairments
    • Partnering with asset custodians to uphold accountability and control
    • Expenditure management, including review of payables and accruals
    • Review and analyse financial data and reports to support decision-making and reporting accuracy.
    • Assist with process improvements and system implementation projects when required.
    • Support corporate governance by partnering with auditors and stakeholders to resolve audit issues promptly and maintain robust internal controls.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
  • Experience with SAP or working in the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions or VBA), PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
