We are seeking a driven Laboratory Operations Executive to join our dynamic operations team. Job description:

As a Laboratory Operations Executive, you will support the Operations Manager in planning and coordinating daily laboratory activities to ensure the effective management of the lab ops. Your role will focus on maintaining efficient day-to-day operations and overseeing the operations team. Additionally, you will be involved in designing and implementing workflows to enhance processes and improve service quality.

The role also includes responsibilities such as data entry and generating month-end billing for clients.

Roles and responsibilities:

Billing and invoicing

  • Billing – check entries, prepare billing file and generate invoice to clients
  • Vendor invoices – verify invoices to process payments
  • Customer data management – updating clients records, new account creation and quotation.

Operations

  • Clinical sample registration – perform data entry for patients' sample into system
  • Patients report distribution – verify patient reports and forward copy to clients
  • Despatch coordination – liaise with vendor to arrange collection and deliveries
  • Enquiries hotline – attend to client enquiries, tracing of reports

Office Administration

  • Office maintenance – office and pantry supplies, printer, IT support
  • Other tasks as required by the management

Job requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma holder preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
  • IT savvy – good knowledge in applications
  • Experience in Laboratory Management is advantageous.
  • Experience in accounting and billing will be preferred
  • Documented experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Meticulous, organized, able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and as a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
