Job Title: Application Support Engineer (.Net / Java + SQL)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Application Support Engineer to join their growing IT team in Singapore. This position is ideal for a Malaysian professional with hands-on experience in .Net or Java and SQL, who is passionate about problem-solving and ensuring system reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/3 application support for enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to .NET or Java-based applications and SQL databases.
  • Analyze recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Work closely with development teams to deliver timely fixes and enhancements.
  • Prepare documentation, SOPs, and performance reports.
  • Participate in on-call or shift rotation if required.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in Application Support or related role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in .NET (C#/ASP.NET) or Java (Spring Boot, J2EE).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL.
  • Familiar with ITIL, ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently in a client-facing environment.
  • Willing to relocate or commute to Singapore.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3, $5,000.00 per month
