Job Description
- Responsible in evaluating tenders, costs, manage contracts and advice on contractual matter. Preparation of tender submission and tender documentation / drawing.
- Prepare and submit variation and cost claims.
- Identify variation orders and submit accurate cost implications, spreadsheets and formation of sub-contract documents and conditions.
- Explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices on procurement, contract strategy and related function.
- Project budgeting and costing reports.
- Correspondence between all consultants / sub-con and suppliers.
- Assist Manager in all other QS related job not limited to liaison with sub-contractors / suppliers, measurement of quantities, analyze cost
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying /Civil Engineering/Construction Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of quantity surveyor experience for QS role, 7 years of quantity surveyor experience for Senior QS role in Construction Industry.
- Post contract and/or Pre contract.
- Good knowledge of best practices in procurement and contract administration.
- Good knowledge of Standard Conditions of Contract, SIA and PSSCOC contracts.
- Independent, proactive, resourceful, result-orientated, able to meet tight schedules and with a good eye for detail.
- Readiness to work beyond scheduled working hours.
