JOB SUMMARY

As an Inside Sales team member, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing quotations, proposals, and client communications. Your contribution directly impacts the growth of Pentagon's market share by ensuring timely and accurate sales support for both new and existing clients.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the sales team in preparing quotations, RFQs, and tender proposals for potential and existing clients.

  • Verify pricing, shipment terms, and conditions for awarded contracts.

  • Ensure data accuracy across all sales-related systems and update them promptly.

  • Maintain and organize sales documentation for easy retrieval and reference.

  • Coordinate across departments (operations, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of sales processes and service delivery.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum Diploma qualification in Business, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 2 - 3 years experience in sales support or customer service, ideally within the freight forwarding, logistics, Oil & gas, EPC, or Marine industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reports, analysis, and documentation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.

  • Familiarity with freight forwarding processes, terminology, and industry practices is an advantage.
