Role Overview

The Head of Digital Transformation will be responsible for setting and executing the company's technology vision, enabling digital innovation, and aligning IT with the business's strategic objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, leadership over IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital guest experiences, property systems, and data analytics platforms.

You will spearhead group-wide digital transformation—enhancing operational agility, guest personalization, and competitive advantage across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement a group-wide technology and digital roadmap aligned with business growth.
  • Partner with C-suite leaders to drive business innovation through digital capabilities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, cloud, smart hotel systems) for competitive advantage.

Hotel Technology Operations

  • Oversee all hotel property systems including PMS, POS, CRS, ERP, door access, PABX, Wi-Fi, CCTV, HR Management Solutions, Building Management, Revenue and Costs Management and payment gateways.
  • Ensure seamless integration and support across multiple brands and geographies.
  • Lead cloud migration and centralization efforts where applicable.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Establish robust security frameworks across all entities.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, payment (PCI-DSS), and local regulations.

Guest Experience & Digital Innovation

  • Champion digital guest journeys including mobile check-in, smart room tech, and personalization engines.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools for bookings, loyalty, concierge services, housekeeping, engineering and security.

Team Leadership & Governance

  • Build and mentor an agile, high-performing technology team.
  • Define IT governance policies, vendor management practices, and CapEx/OpEx budgets.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5-8 years in IT or Digital leadership roles, preferably in hospitality or multi-property environments.
  • Proven track record of implementing enterprise-scale PMS, ERP, or cloud transformations.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy, and systems integration.
  • Experience with vendor negotiations, project governance, and change management.
