Description
  • Conduct research on various industries and market trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  • Building and maintaining financial models to forecast potential returns and evaluate the financial health of prospective investments.
  • Conducting valuations of startups and emerging companies.
  • Evaluating business plans, product offerings, and management teams to assess the viability and growth potential of investment opportunities.
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with investments and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Building relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other investors to source potential investment opportunities.
  • Reviewing and filtering investment proposals.
  • Tracking performance of portfolio companies and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Assisting portfolio companies with strategic advice, business development, and financial planning.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing investment documentation, legal agreements, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to analyse complex financial data and market trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and interacting with stakeholders.
