Manager, Aircraft Leasing

Singapore Singapore Technologies Engineering Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

1. Role

a. A key member of the Business Team to carry out commercial activities covering lease prospecting, analyze deal economics, market research and other assignments

2. Job Description

a. Key account management with airline customers and operators

b. Perform market research to understand trends in the aviation industry, including aircraft values, lease rates, and market demand

c. Lead and manage transactions within cross-functional teams and external stakeholders e.g. legal counsel and consultants

d. Prepare terms sheets, Letters of Intent (LOI) for aircraft lease and purchase transactions, in collaboration with legal counsel and advisors

e. Be familiar with financial concepts and modelling to analyze deal economics, support deal approval processes

f. Other duties or assignments as required

3. Requirements

a. Suitable candidate is expected to possess a degree in Finance/ Economics/ Banking/ Accountancy/ Business Administration/ Engineering

b. At least 3 years experience in aviation finance, marketing and key account management. Experience in the aviation leasing industry, aircraft conversions and M&A advisory services will be viewed favourably

c. Understanding of aircraft and engine maintenance condition and maintenance cashflow forecasts will be an advantage

d. Highly organized, conscientious while handling multiple tasks and transactions simultaneously

f. Quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills is advantage

g. Practiced and proven communication and presentation skills.

h. Strong team player with ability to demonstrate initiative, but also able to work independently; Commitment to deliver high quality work
