We are looking for a Sales Director, to join our dynamic Bloomberg Media sales team as a senior individual contributor. Based in our Singapore office, this role is ideal for a seasoned sales leader who thrives on building high-level client relationships and crafting insight-driven, cross-platform solutions. You will focus on growing Bloomberg Media's B2B commercial footprint across Technology, Consulting, Energy, and Corporate sectors (excluding finance), driving strategic conversations and securing high-value partnerships.
As a key member of the commercial team, reporting into the Commercial Director, Asia South, you will operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues in content, marketing, product, and events. This is a hands-on, senior sales role requiring executive presence, creativity, and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive marketplace.
We'll Trust You To:
- Drive revenue growth across key B2B sectors—technology, consulting, energy, and corporate—through direct sales efforts and strategic client engagement
- Build and deepen senior-level relationships within client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor and media solutions partner
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and upsell potential within existing accounts
- Develop and deliver insight-led, cross-platform media proposals (digital, video, TV, content, events) that align with client business objectives
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across content, marketing, product, and events to create integrated, high-value campaigns
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and forecasting discipline using Salesforce, with regular updates to regional leadership
- Represent Bloomberg Media at client meetings, industry events, and other external engagements to position the brand as a leader in the B2B media landscape
You'll need to have:
- At least 8 years of Singapore and/or regional advertising experience in an international media brand set up
- B2B experience in a direct sales revenue generating role
- Experience working with clients in the Technology, Energy, Consulting, or Corporate sectors in Asia
- A proven track record of revenue generation and account growth
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers, providing solutions that drive measurable business impact
- Strong understanding of media buying dynamics, including both agency and client-side engagement
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and storytelling abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization

- Experience structuring value-led marketing solutions beyond standard media buys
- Deep awareness of trends shaping the B2B media landscape in Asia, and the ability to translate these into client value
