We are seeking a techno-functional Payments Solution Architect with experience in cash management, transaction banking, and payments-related large transformation programs within corporate, commercial, and institutional banking environments. The ideal candidate should demonstrate deep functional understanding coupled with strong technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the overall payments solution architecture and design, collaborating closely with the product owner and enterprise architect.
  2. Participate in designing and planning enhancements to existing payment applications and developing new applications.
  3. Engage in hands-on development, participate in code reviews, set coding standards, and introduce new technologies to the team.
  4. Work with Quality Assurance and developers to ensure software meets system, functional, and performance requirements.
  5. Maintain a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or within an Agile development environment.
Skills Required
  1. Hands-on knowledge and experience in core payments processing for retail and corporate banking customers.
  2. Exposure to payments processing and clearing systems from multiple geographies; experience with SWIFT and APAC region payments is preferred.
  3. Experience with leading payment processing products such as Fundtech GPP, FIS Clear2Pay, Fiserv Dovetail, Volante VolPay, etc.
  4. Experience working in Agile environments.
  5. Ability to define business problems and architect technical solutions adhering to best practices and governance standards.
  6. Proficiency in architecting Java/J2EE enterprise applications from concept to production.
  7. Knowledge of JavaScript, microservices, SOA, rules engine, caching technologies, SQL, REST/SOAP services.
  8. Understanding of various deployment topologies.
  9. A passion for continuous learning of new technologies and concepts.
  10. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
