Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect to lead our efforts in building a next-generation network for global payments.


About the Role
  • This is an opportunity to architect and design a cutting-edge payment infrastructure that powers international transactions, connecting banks, financial institutions, and enterprises.
  • You will be responsible for defining technical vision and strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, and driving technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's mission, products, and services, as well as emerging trends and technologies in the payment industry.
  2. Leverage this knowledge to design and implement architecture that meets business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  3. Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  4. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to identify opportunities for innovation and integration, driving strategic partnerships and ecosystem development.
  5. Maintain a strong focus on customer needs, continuously gathering feedback, and adapting solutions to meet evolving demands.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:


Technical Expertise
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, protocols, and infrastructure, including APIs, messaging queues, and data storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, and experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Business Acumen
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results-oriented initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a talent for problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
